Virtual Event: 10-Day LIVE CEO Speaking Bootcamp
1. General Terms
Speak Like A CEO may offer tickets to virtual events such as the 10-Day LIVE CEO Speaking Bootcamp (the “Event”).
The Event is a virtual program, conducted online via a digital link (URL), and not at a physical location.
By purchasing a ticket to the Event—whether through our website or a third-party ticketing platform—you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a ticket and participate.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not purchase or attend the Event.
2. Use of Third-Party Ticketing Platforms
If purchasing through a third-party platform, such purchases are also governed by that platform’s own terms and conditions. Speak Like A CEO is not responsible for the performance, security, or service quality of third-party providers. Please exercise caution when sharing personal or financial information.
3. Changes, Rescheduling, and Cancellations
Speak Like A CEO reserves the right to:
(i) Reschedule the Event, in which case your ticket will remain valid for the new date.
(ii) Offer a full refund, including booking fees (subject to the third-party provider’s policies), if you request it in writing within the time period stated in our Refund Policy.
4. Program Changes
We reserve the right to modify any aspect of the advertised program, including:
• Speakers or facilitators
• Schedule or format
• Ticket types or prices
• Audience size or platform
We will always strive to maintain a high-quality experience.
5. Event Access
Access details will be sent to the email address provided at the time of purchase. This email is your ticket and must be retained.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have:
• A stable internet connection
• A compatible device (e.g., computer, tablet)
• Necessary software (e.g., Zoom)
We are not liable for access issues due to your device, internet connection, or software, and no refunds will be provided in such cases.
6. Ticket Limits and Usage
To ensure fair access, we may limit the number of tickets per person. If, due to a system error, you exceed the limit, we may:
• Cancel excess tickets, and
• Refund ticket costs (minus any non-refundable processing fees)
This includes duplicate orders associated with the same name, email, billing address, or credit card.
You are responsible for securing your ticket. No refunds or replacements will be issued for lost, stolen, or misplaced tickets.
7. Event Recordings and Access
The Event sessions may be recorded. Unless otherwise stated:
• Access to recordings may constitute attendance, and refunds will not be granted based on non-attendance if recordings are available.
8. Intellectual Property
All Event content, including recordings, slides, templates, and materials, are the property of Speak Like A CEO and protected under the Copyright Act (Canada).
By participating, you agree:
• Not to copy, share, reproduce, sell, or create derivative works of the content without prior written consent;
• To use the materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only;
• Not to develop competing services or products using our materials.
9. Psychological Content Disclaimer
Event content may include emotionally triggering material. Speak Like A CEO does not conduct psychological assessments nor provide aftercare.
You are responsible for determining the appropriateness of the Event for your personal mental health. Please consult a licensed medical or mental health professional beforehand if needed.

10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted under Ontario law, Speak Like A CEO is not liable for:
• Any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss,
• Loss of profits or opportunity,
• Inconvenience or disruption caused by third-party providers or force majeure events.
In cases where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the ticket price paid.
“Force Majeure” includes but is not limited to: natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, pandemic restrictions, strikes, or system failures.
11. Interpretation and Modifications
“Including” in these Terms is not limiting. Speak Like A CEO may update these Terms at any time. The version applicable is the one in effect at the time of your ticket purchase.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
13. Installment Payment Plan
13.1 Plan Terms Speak Like A CEO may offer an installment payment option for the 10-Day LIVE CEO Speaking Bootcamp at a rate of USD $399 per month for three (3) consecutive monthly payments (the "Installment Plan"). Total enrollment under this plan is $1,197.
13.2 Payment Schedule Your first installment is due at the time of enrollment. Subsequent installments are automatically charged on the same calendar date in each following month. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment method remains valid and sufficiently funded throughout the plan.
13.3 Access Suspension for Non-Payment If any installment payment after the first is not successfully processed, you will have a five (5) calendar day grace period from the original due date to complete payment. If payment is not received within this grace period, your access to the Program — including live sessions, recordings, materials, and any associated resources — will be suspended immediately without further notice.
13.4 No Refund Upon Suspension Participants whose access has been suspended under Section 13.3 are not eligible for a refund of any amounts previously paid under the Installment Plan, regardless of whether the Program has been completed. Suspension due to non-payment constitutes a forfeiture of prior payments.
13.5 Reinstatement Reinstatement of access following suspension is at the sole discretion of Speak Like A CEO and may be subject to additional administrative fees. We do not guarantee reinstatement or access to sessions missed during the period of suspension.
13.6 Interaction with Refund and Deferral Policies Participants on an Installment Plan remain subject to all other Terms & Conditions, including the Refund Policy and Deferral Policy. Eligibility for the money-back guarantee requires that all installments be paid in full and all refund conditions be met.
Conditions of Virtual Entry
Details about how to access the virtual event will be delivered via the email address provided during purchase, this email is your ticket to the virtual event and will be required to gain entry. Tickets are non-transferable unless otherwise agreed by Speak Like A CEO and only one person is permitted to attend the 10-Day LIVE CEO Speaking Bootcamp per Ticket purchased.
10-Day LIVE CEO Speaking Bootcamp uses virtual break-out rooms and carefully timed break-out activities, as such each participant is required to access their ticket and join the virtual event on a separate device (i.e. you cannot have multiple people join the virtual event on one device even if you have paid for a ticket for each person). For the avoidance of doubt, each ticket to a 10-Day LIVE CEO Speaking Bootcamp only permits a single person to view the content provided by Speak Like A CEO. You may not allow any third party access to the virtual event, or share resources with them without our prior written consent.
Admission to a virtual event is subject to the following terms:
You may be denied entry into, or removed from, a virtual event where Speak Like A CEO has reasonable grounds to do so, including if you:
• breach these Terms and Conditions;
• breach our Program Guidelines;
• are intoxicated or under the influence of illicit drugs,
• behave in a harassing, threatening, abusive, disruptive or inappropriate manner; or
• behave in a way that adversely affects the enjoyment of the event by others or their ability to access the event.
If you are denied entry or removed from a virtual event you will not be eligible for a refund and will not have access to recordings of the virtual event.
If you attempt to join the virtual event late you may not be admitted until a suitable break in the event.
You are not permitted to use cameras, screen recorders, screen shots, or other recording equipment (including mobile phones) or software, unless otherwise advised.
By attending the virtual event, you agree that you may be filmed and/or recorded, and you give permission to Speak Like A CEO to use your image, likeness and voice obtained at the event to promote or explain our services to the public. If you provide any written comments or feedback on Speak Like A CEO to us, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, world-wide, assignable and sub-licenceable licence to use that content for any purpose.
During your participation in Speak Like A CEO’s events, you may disclose information about yourself, or learn of information about other participants. When this happens, you agree that:
• It is a condition of participation in our events that you keep that information confidential and do not share it outside of the Speak Like A CEO event; and
• Despite this being a condition of participation, Speak Like A CEO cannot guarantee that your information will be kept confidential, and to the extent permitted by law you release us from any liability arising from another participant disclosing information about you to a third party.
Refund Policy

You may request a refund within 30 days of your purchase, provided the bootcamp has not yet begun. No additional conditions apply.
You may request a refund up to 7 days after the final class, provided all of the following conditions are met:
(1) You did not miss more than one class
(2) You attended at least 60 minutes of each class.
(3) You completed the full 10-day program. Refunds will not be granted if you quit the program at any point before Day 10.
(4) You submitted your refund request in writing, no earlier than Day 10 and no later than 7 days after the final class.
Session Changes: If your plans change, you may transfer to a different session at no charge, provided you notify us in writing at least 30 days after purchase. No exceptions will be made for illness, travel, or personal reasons.
Deferral Policy
1. Scope & Application
These deferral provisions apply only to participants who have purchased a ticket (or virtual access) to the 10-Day Live CEO Speaking Bootcamp (the “Program”) and who meet all other Terms & Conditions issued by Speak Like A CEO (“Organizer”, “we”, “us”).
A participant may defer their attendance only in accordance with this policy. No more than one (1) deferral is permitted per ticket purchase.
2. Eligibility for Deferral
To be eligible to defer your participation:
(i) You must request the deferral in writing (email or any method clearly accepted by us) at least 30 calendar days after purchase the original Program start date.
(ii) You must specify a valid reason for the deferral (for example, scheduling conflict, health reason, etc.).
(iii) You must maintain your ticket purchase in good standing (fees paid, no outstanding obligations).
(iv) The deferral must be to a future edition of the same Program (or alternate date offered by the Organizer) that is publicly scheduled and available at the time of your request.
3. How to Request a Deferral
Requests for deferral must be sent to [email protected] with the subject line “Deferral Request – 10-Day LIVE CEO Speaking Bootcamp”. Your request must include:
(i) Your full name, ticket number or order reference.
(ii) Original Program date.
(iii) Reason for deferral.
(iv) Confirmation that you wish to attend a future date in lieu of the original date.
We will respond within 5 business days to confirm if your deferral is approved and to provide the alternate date options.
4. Timing & Once-Only Rule
(i) The deferral must be requested and approved before the original Program start date. If you attempt to request a deferral after the Program has commenced, it will not be accepted.
(ii) A ticket may only be deferred once. After a deferral has been granted, no further deferrals, transfers, or changes will be allowed under this policy.
5. Fees & Payment Implications
(i) If the alternate Program date carries the same ticket price and no additional fees, you will not incur any extra cost.
(ii) If the alternate date has a higher price (due to inflation, new pricing, different package) you may be responsible for paying the difference to attend that date.
(iii) If the alternate date is lower in price, no refund of the difference will be given.
(iv) If you fail to attend the alternate date you selected, the ticket will be considered used and no refund or further deferral will be granted.
6. Impact on Refund Eligibility
Once a deferral has been approved, the participant is no longer eligible for a refund prior to the new class start date. Deferred participants may only qualify for a refund after completing the program and only if they are dissatisfied, in accordance with the Organizer’s satisfaction guarantee policy.
7. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Organizer
If the Organizer cancels or reschedules the Program, then participants will be offered either a full refund or the opportunity to transfer to the new date without penalty (subject to the Terms & Conditions for cancellation).
8. Non-Transferability / Use
(i) The ticket (and deferral right) is non-transferable unless explicitly permitted by the Organizer.
(ii) If you transfer your ticket without permission, the deferral right will be void.
9. Liability & No Guarantee
(i) While we endeavour to make alternate Program dates available, the Organizer does not guarantee that any specific future date will be offered. If we are unable to provide a new date that you accept, we will refund the ticket price in accordance with our refund terms.
(ii) This policy does not entitle you to additional compensation, damages or reimbursement for lost time, travel, accommodations or other costs.
10. Governing Law & Application
(i) These deferral terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada.
(ii) If a portion of this policy is found invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
11. Acceptance
By purchasing a ticket for the 10-Day LIVE CEO Speaking Bootcamp, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by this Deferral Policy.
